Becca Kidwell Geeks Out For Her New Show “Fangirl,” at Don’t Tell Mama on October 13th

The 2018 MAC Award nominee for female debut, Becca Kidwell, brings her new show, Fangirl, to Don’t Tell Mama on Saturday, October 13th at 4:00 pm. Direction is by Gretchen Reinhagen and musical direction by Tracy Stark. Kidwell  reveals her obsessions and her true geeky nature through her fandoms of Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand, Alice Ripley, Doctor WhoStar TrekGilmore Girls and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend the week after New York Comic Con. The show features songs by Paul Simon, Fiona Apple, Cyndi Lauper, Rachel Bloom, Marvin Hamlisch and Marilyn Bergman, Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh, Richard A. Whiting and Johnny Mercer, Meg Flather, Gretchen Reinhagen and Tracy Stark, among others.
 
Becca presented her debut show, A Song & Its Girl last year. Recently, she was part the recording of the new musical The Church of the Alien Love Child Presents: The Passion of Reverend Yolanda.
