Live “La Bella Vita” with Kathleen France at The Iridium, October 4

ScoBar Entertainment is proud to present MAC Award-winning vocalist Kathleen France in her new show, La Bella Vita, for one-night-only on Tuesday, October 4th at 8pm at Iridium. The show is directed by Tanya Moberly with music direction by Ian Herman on piano.

Kathleen France is a two-time Emmy Award nominee & the 2015 MAC Award-winner for Best Cabaret Revue. She returns to the Iridium stage in La Bella Vita, a tribute to Italian-American singers & a celebration of what they’ve contributed to help us all live the good life.  So, “Come Fly with Me,” as music director Ian Herman conducts the 8-piece band (led by Sean Harkness on guitar, Tom Hubbard on bass, and David Silliman on drums), playing everything from big band jazz, to doo-wop, to classic standards, to movie themes  – this show immerses you in the, “Magic Moments,” of this music.

Pour yourself a Negroni & get ready to enjoy the upcoming Columbus Day weekend with The Family, by remembering how a bunch of Bobby’s, a couple of Connie’s & some fabulous Frankie & Johnny’s made their mark on America.  You’ll go Gaga for this toe-tapping, upbeat show that will keep you singing along.  Now, “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head”?

What the critics say about Kathleen France…

“Bubbly Kathleen is an exclamation point of delightful, infectious joy…she’s a sunny,  funny, cute-as-a-bunny personality who lights up the room.  This is someone who knows how to play to & connect with an audience, with her twinkling eyes looking right at theirs.  She has great timing & provides a great time.”    –Rob Lester, Cabaret Scenes

“Although none of the selections were written for her, she has the knack of making them sound like extremely well-tailored special material.”   David Finkle,

“Sometimes loud & bold, sometimes heartfelt & meaningful, the solos & duets had extraordinary polish.  Chat between the songs was quick-witted & funny.”  Marcina Zaccaria, Theater Pizzazz
