ScoBar Entertainment continues PIANO BAR LIVE! every Monday night at 7pm at Brandy’s Piano Bar on the Upper East Side. Joining Piano Bar Maestro, MICHAEL McASSEY at the keys, will be a veritable Who’s Who of Cabaret and Broadway! PIANO BAR LIVE! is an interactive, live-streaming Piano Bar experience. THERE IS NO COVER CHARGE for PIANO BAR LIVE!  but there is a two drink minimum.

Guests for November 25th include Sarah Mucho, Jon Satrom, Heidi Weyhmueller, Christa Steiner and Samantha Woo.

Sarah Mucho

Sarah Mucho is a singer, musician, songwriter and cabaret artist from NYC. She is best known as the lead singer and contributing songwriter for Brooklyn-based, roots-rock band The Sometime Boys, but Sarah got her start belting it out in several iconic NYC piano bars/cabarets such as Don’t Tell Mama and Rose’s Turn, for which she received a MAC Award in 2008. In 2005, she was nominated for a MAC Award for her acclaimed Ziggy Stardust show, a reinterpretation of the classic David Bowie album, a hugely popular show she continued to perform until 2010. Sarah has also performed overseas at the Montparnasse Piano Bar in Mykonos, Greece, for several seasons and she just returned from a tour of the UK, earlier this fall. A diverse singer specializing  in rock, pop and Americana music, she also brings her own flavor to classic show tunes and standards. Sarah has five albums with The Sometime Boys available online, as well as a solo record.

Jon Satrom

Jon Satrom holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from NYU.  He has been a proud member of the Piano Bar community since 2010 and is currently on staff at both Don’t Tell Mama and Brandy’s, where he can be seen weekly. He has performed all over the country on the national tours of A Year with Frog & Toad (First and Second National), The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley and The Ant & the Elephant. He was also recently on the road as Company Manager for the national tours of Mamma Mia and Rent. Notable regional credits include Grease (Danny Zuko), Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph) and West Side Story (Tony) at Jenny Wiley Theatre; Annie Get Your Gun (Frank Butler) at Millbrook Playhouse and Plain & Fancy (Peter), Joseph…(Joseph), Smoke on the Mountain, Smoke on the Mountain Homecoming (Rev. Oglethorpe) and Me & My Girl (Gerald) at Pines Dinner Theatre. Jon has also been in staged readings and cabaret performances throughout New York City including the recent run of Mama’s Boys with three of his close friends and colleagues from Don’t Tell Mama!

Heidi Weyhmueller

Heidi Weyhmueller is a 25+ year veteran of the stage, with a resume that includes roles from Ellen in Miss Saigon to Jennie Mae in The Diviners and stages from black box theatres to Radio City Music Hall. When not on the road, Heidi has performed in piano bars and on cabaret stages throughout NYC. She was a long-time regular performer at Don’t Tell Mama and Brandy’s and in 2018, debuted her long-awaited solo show, On the Edge. Thanks to the wonderful piano bar community for being her home.

Christa Steiner

Christa Steiner is a New York City based performer hailing from the Garden State. She is a part of the inaugural Musical Theatre class at Manhattan School of Music, graduating this spring and will be playing Kate in MSM’s upcoming production of The Wild Party (Lippa). Since being in New York, Christa has been fortunate enough to perform on Broadway with Kristin Chenoweth and at Carnegie Hall with Megan Hilty. Most recently, Christa performed at Surflight Theatre in their 2019 summer season. Favorite roles include Miss Honey (Matilda), Lucy (Bright Star), Julia (The Wedding Singer) and Gloria (Flashdance). Christa is a passionate advocate for arts education and works to create private scholarships for children in the tri-state area.

Samantha Woo

Samantha Woo is a first-year Musical Theatre major at Pace University and originally hails from Sonoma County, California. Her favorite credits include the Witch in Into the Woods, Beatrice in Much Ado About  Nothing and was most recently in a pre-production cast of Evita at City Center. She would like to thank Michael McAssey for his support and this opportunity to be a part of the PIANO BAR LIVE!
