Susan Mack’s “Music in the Air” Plays an Encore Performance at Birdland Theater on Monday, March 14

Vocalist Susan Mack‘s Music in the Air returns to Birdland Theater on Monday, March 14 at 8:30 PM for an encore performance. Featuring musical director, Ted Rosenthal, with arrangements by Tedd Firth, the band also includes David Finck on bass and Ray Marchica on drums. Direction is by Lina Koutrakos.

The show is a new spin on jazz standards, celebrating the power and magic of music in our lives through composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Chick Corea and more. Mack will share her joy in their “forever music,” bringing a contemporary spin to the dancing, romancing and loving that music inspires.

Vocalist Susan Mack is a native New Yorker with a lifelong passion for singing and performing. After a long career in finance, she is thrilled to return to the stage. Her 2018 debut show, Nobody Else But Me, directed by Marilyn Maye, was nominated for a MAC Award for Best Female Debut.
