Salon on Sunday, October 28th, Features Co-Hosts Janice Hall and Adam Shapiro, with the Salon Spotlight on Dr. Bradley Jones

The award-winning weekly open mic, Salon, created and hosted by Mark Janas, features a Halloween theme this Sunday: The World is a Scary Place – Halloween Traditions Around The Globe. As always, the theme is optional, but COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED! Salon convenes at  Etcetera, Etcetera, 352 West 44th Street, NYC on Sunday, October 28th from 7-10:00 pm. (Sign-Up Begins at 6:15.)

 Co-hosts will be MAC & Bistro Award winner Janice Hall and MAC Award winner Adam Shapiro. Janice will be appearing in A MUSICAL EVENING at Urban Stages on November 5th at 7 pm and in A VERY LENNIE AND THOSE GIRLS HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR: THE SEQUEL at The Laurie Beechman Theater on December 2nd at 4 pm and December 11th at 7 pm. Adam continues in the Off-Broadway production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF in Yiddish at The Museum of Jewish Heritage through December 30th.

The Salon Spotlight will feature Broadway veteran and mental health professional Dr. Bradley Jones. Bradley will be bringing his DR. BRADLEY’S FABULOUS FUNCTIONAL NARCISSISM back to Don’t Tell Mama on October 31st at 7:30 pm to Benefit The American Songbook Association.

Salon has an in-house videographer offering professional, website and YouTube-ready video clips for anyone who is interested. The cost is $20 in cash per song, payable in advance at sign-up.

There is a $10 cash cover ($5 for students with I.D.) collected at the door and a $20 food/drink minimum (cash or credit) per person. There are no reservations; seating is on a first come/first served basis. Doors open and sign up begins at 6:15 pm. The evening begins at 7:00, has a 15-minute break at 8:30 and ends promptly at 10:00.
