Richard Skipper Celebrates Broadway and Off-Broadway Firsts on April 8th

Russ Woolley proudly presents Richard Skipper‘s latest brunch show, Richard Skipper Celebrates Broadway and Off-Broadway First—And More on April 8th at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at 1 PM. As with all of Skipper’s show, the 90 minutes of entertainment is filled with music, reminisces and plenty of fun—and of course,show business! Joining Skipper are artists with the roles they created and/or made their own: Lane Bradbury, who created the role of Dainty June in the original Broadway production of Gypsy; Annie Hughes, from Off-Broadway’s Closer Than Ever, Lauren Mufson, from the Broadway and National Touring companies of Mamma Mia! and Marta Sanders, from the original company of The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas. Plus, as is Skipper’s tradition, a special Mystery Guest.

Musical Direction is by Joe Goodrich with Rex Benincasa on percussion, Steve Doyle on bass, and Erik Lawrence on saxophone.

Richard Skipper Celebrates Broadway and Off-Broadway First—And More, Sunday, April 8 at 1 PM (doors open at 12:15 PM), Tickets are $30 with a $20 food/beverage minimum.
