Monday in the Dark with George Celebrates 25th Anniversary at The Duplex with Three Dates in April

The music and comedy revue, Monday in the Dark with George (the title may tell you something about this “wild, witty and wonderfully wordy musical revue”) is back—at The Duplex, playing three shows on successive Sundays, April 8th, 15th and 22nd at 6:30 PM. Monday in the Dark with George, featuring the words and (mostly) the music of George Winters, debuted in 1992 to an acclaim that won the show a MAC Award for Outstanding Revue as well as the Bistro Awards for Outstanding Revue, Cast, and Direction.

Now, 25 years later, George and his original co-stars, Helen Baldassare and Jay Rogers, with music director Bobby Peaco and director Gerry Geddes, reprise the show, with original material and a few new selections as well. As press notes declare, “They’re back…and older than ever!”

Monday In The Dark With George, Sunday, April 8, 15 and 22 at 6:30 PM. $25 ticket in advance ($30.00 at the door) plus service fee, available here. There is a 2 drink minimum.

The Duplex, 61 Christopher Street (at the Corner of 7th Avenue), New York,
