We’re proud and excited to tell you that NiteLife Exchange‘s partnership with David Kenney now includes NLE Publisher Scott Barbarino as a guest DJ—all the more to promote the great talent of our cabaret and jazz communities, regularly heard every Sunday and Wednesday, in which we feature a handful of shows we recommend for the upcoming week.
For 46 years, Kenney has been hosting “Everything Old Is New Again” on Sundays from 10 PM to 12 AM on WBAI radio (and repeated on Wednesdays 9:00-11:00 PM on thepenthouse.fm). The show, well-known to the NYC cabaret community, is a blend of Big Band and Swing, jazz, show tunes, cabaret, vocal groups and solo performers, as well as “feature artist” segments and celebrity interviews
Kenney was awarded a Bistro Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2004. This Special Award was given in recognition of his then 25 Years as host of “Everything Old Is New Again”and for his dedication and promotion of cabaret. We’re thrilled to be able to join Kenney in his ongoing mission to support the art and arts we so know and love.
