Richard Holbrook’s Many Moods of Christmas 11/26-12/17 at Don’t Tell Mama

Veteran cabaret singer and three-time MAC Award nominee, Richard Holbrook, will be presenting his holiday show on some Sundays and Mondays – November 26December 3, 11 and 17 – accompanied by pianist Tom Nelson’s trio, which is completed by another Tom on bass (Mr. Kirchmer) and Peter Grant on drums. The late Richard Barclay was the show’s director. The show will feature traditional holiday favorites as well as material from Broadway and Hollywood that fit nicely into the Christmas season. Songwriters represented include Lionel Bart, Leslie Bricusse, Jerry Herman, Fred Silver, Tom Lehrer, Cole Porter, Jay Livingston & Ray Evans, John Kander & Fred Ebb, Ronny Whyte & Roger Schore, Harold Arlen & Truman Capote, Amanda McBroom & Michele Brourman, and Leonard Bernstein & Stephen Sondheim.

Show time is 8:30 PM, with the exception of December 11, which has a 7 PM start time. Cover Charge is $20 ($15 for MAC members) with a two-drink minimum. This show is dedicated to two of Richard’s dear friends – Phyllis Rosenzweig Gertzis and the late Mr. Barclay.
