Cause Celebre Productions’ The People Versus Lenny Bruce runs on Theatre Row from Thursday, May 7 – Sunday, June 28 in Theatre Four. The play is written by Susan Charlotte and directed by Antony Marsellis.

The People Versus Lenny Bruce is part of the series All The Court’s A Stage, based on the cases of first amendment lawyer Marty Garbus, featuring a complete ensemble cast tasked with portraying the historical figures involved in the 1964 obscenity trial. This production dramatizes the legal challenges faced by the comedian and his defense team during a pivotal moment in First Amendment history.
