A new work by the award-winning musician, composer and playwright Dan Manjovi, Breach, debuts at the 24th annual Fresh Fruit Festival at The Wild Project space, with performances on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 30 at 8:00 PM (with a talk-back) and Saturday, May 2 at 8:30 PM. The show is directed by Christopher Scott.
The play, with Broadway, stage and television star, LeeAnne Hutchison, also features Max Monnig and Peterson Townsend. The three-hander is an intense psychological drama set in New York City that focuses on a one-week period in the lives of a therapist and her client. When the boundaries of their professional relationship are shaken, their already fragile lives begin to unravel. A layered and complex work, the play explores questions of ethics, vulnerability and personal responsibility, while capturing the troubled emotional climate of our present moment.
