Two-time MAC Award-winning retro DooWop harmony group, Scott Barbarino & The BevNaps, bring oldies and comedy together in their latest show, Travel, at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Thursday, May 28 at 9:30 PM. Barbarino is who he is…and the BevNaps are Anna Anderson, Dylan Berkshire and Musical Director Mark Hartman.
Scott Barbarino and The BevNaps feature tight retro harmonies coupled with “shtick-in-your-eye comedy!” The name is a clever portmanteau derived from “Beverage Napkins,” which serves as a nod to the group’s origins in the piano bar and cabaret circuit. Scott Barbarino & The BevNaps has achieved significant acclaim over the years, including winning two MAC Awards in 1999 for Vocal Group and 2000 for Musical Comedy Group.
