Landmark 80th Theatre World Awards Will Be Presented on Tuesday, June 2 at The Longacre Theatre

The Theatre World Awards 80th annual ceremony will take place on Tuesday afternoon, June 2 at 2:00 PM at The Longacre Theatre, hosted by theater journalist, Peter Filichia. First presented in 1945, the award show was founded by John Willis, the Editor-in-Chief of both Theatre World and its companion volume, Screen World, given for Outstanding Broadway and Off-Broadway performances.

This year’s honorees are:

JOHN LITHGOW: John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre

RACHAEL STIRLING: Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theatre
