ScoBar Entertainment has announced two more evenings of PIANO BAR LIVE! at Brandy’s Piano Bar on the Upper East Side, Mondays, October 21 & 28 at 7pm. Joining Piano Bar Maestro, MICHAEL McASSEY at the keys, will be a veritable Who’s Who of Cabaret and Broadway! PIANO BAR LIVE! is an interactive, live-streaming Piano Bar experience. THERE IS NO COVER CHARGE for PIANO BAR LIVE!  but there is a two drink minimum.

Guests will include Adinah Alexander, Brian Krinsky, David Edwards, Kenn Boisinger and Brandi Chavonne Massey (October 21) and Nancy Timpanaro, Sharon McNight, Kristine Zbornik and Adam Rennie (October 28).

Adinah Alexander

Adinah Alexander has been on Broadway in  Kinky Boots, Wedding Singer,  Wicked, Urban Cowboy and Parade. On TV, Adinah has appeared in “The Deuce,” “The Last OG,” “Bull,” “Lights Out,” “Nurse Jackie” and “Law & Order.” Her Off-Broadway credits include The Adding Machine, Love Janis, Ruthless, Leap of Faith, The Last Smoker in America, Two Rooms and The No Frills Revue. Regionally, she has worked at such venues as Hangar Theatre, McCarter, Broadway Music Circus, Actors Theatre of Louisville, La Jolla Playhouse, Sundance, North Shore Music Theatre,  Fulton Theatre, Goodspeed Opera House and many more.

Kenn Boisinger

Kenn Boisinger has been electrifying audiences with his distinctive voice and signature style for decades. Born and raised in the Cleveland suburb of Parma, Ohio, Kenn and the Boisinger family lived next door to the Hector Boiardi family. Hector Boiardi was better known as the famous Chef Boy-ar-dee and at the age of eight, Kenn was credited with coining the name “Beef-a-roni.” At sixteen, Kenn was entered in a national “Robert Goulet Look-Alike Contest,” the finals of which were held during a broadcast of the “Merv Griffin Show.” Kenn placed third among all of the contestants and made a lasting connection with the “Merv Griffin Show” staff. Because of his affable nature and textbook standard size, he spent a number of years working as a stand-in for lighting for the Griffin show, becoming friends with a diverse crowd of notable personalities, from George Hamilton to Dr. Joyce Brothers to Sammy Davis Jr.’s wife, Altovise. Kenn has appeared in major venues throughout the continental United States, from Bangor, Maine to Hollywood (Florida) to the performing arts center on his beloved Staten Island, which Kenn and his family have called home since 1985. As a songwriter and recording artist, Kenn has a number of multiple-selling albums Best, K.B., Boisinger Sings Boisinger, Stay for the Loud Note, Kenn by Request, Sacred Songs for Lutherans and Others, Can’t We Put the ‘Mas’ Back in Christmas, Broadway Kenn’s Way and possibly more. In addition to his many show business achievements, Kenn was Amway Regional Salesman of the Quarter in fall of 1989 and was Radio Shack Regional Manager of the Month for the Egbertville district of Staten Island in August of 1997.

David Edwards

David Edwards and Michael McAssey have known each other for decades and have collaborated on many theatre and cabaret projects.  David made his professional debut as a child in the Broadway musical The Rothschilds. Other Broadway/National Tour credits include The Producers and By Jeeves. Off-Broadway, he was the final “El Gallo” in the record-breaking original run of The Fantasticks and starred in the critically acclaimed revival of Room Service. Other New York credits include The Roar of the Greasepaint…, That’s Life, Bittersuite,  What’s  a Nice Country Like You Doing in a State Like This?, Zion, Company and Ionescopade.  His film & TV work included “Belly,” “The Fantasticks: Try to Remember,” “Meshuggah-Nuns TV Special” and “The Good Wife.” David has sung with NY City Opera, Virginia Opera and Skylight Opera Companies and appeared as a concert soloist with the El Paso and Albuquerque Symphonies and the Palm Beach Pops.

Brian Krinsky

Brian Krinsky is so excited to be a part of PIANO BAR LIVE! He was part of the National Tour of Anything Goes (Billy Crocker) and Beauty & the Beast (Beast/Gaston u/s), in addition to productions of Treasure Island, Daddy Long Legs, Constellations and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

Brandi Chavonne Massey

Brandi Chavonne Massey is thrilled to be a part of this cast. Her credits include West End Nala in Disney’s The Lion King, Broadway and National Tours as Nettie/Celie in The Color Purple, Elphaba in Wicked, The Radio in Caroline or Change and Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde. New York projects include Ghetto Superstar, singing background for Billy Porter, as well as Sam Smith, Kira in Bare, Pam in Baby,  Myrt in Carmen Jones at the York Theater, Muse in the Nike workshop of Ball with  L.L. Cool Jay and Savion Glover, Linda Eder’s Christmas Concert and Dionne in Hair in the Encore Series. Her favorite Regional credits include Lorrell in Dream Girls, starring Jennifer Holiday at The Fox Theater, Amunt in Jasper in Deadland at The 5Th Avenue and Apollo Singer in The Buddy Holly Story.
