Becca Kidwell’s “My Maybe World” Plays an Encore Performance at Don’t Tell Mama on Sunday, January 30

Returning to Don’t Tell Mama, Becca Kidwell celebrates the music of Mary Chapin Carpenter in My Maybe World, on Sunday, January, 30 at 3:30 PM. Her award-winning team includes musical director, Tracy Stark, director Kristine Zbornik and Gretchen Reinhagen as her directing consultant.

The show dances through Kidwell’s joys and struggles through the lens of Grammy and Country Music Association Mary Chapin Carpenter’s music including hits such as “I Feel Lucky,” “Passionate Kisses,” “He Thinks He’ll Keep Her” and lesser known favorites that speak to her journey.

Kidwell made her professional cabaret debut in 2017 with her show, A Song & Its Girl at Don’t Tell Mama and a garnered a nomination for the 2018 MAC Award for Best Female Debut. She has created solo shows Fangirl and Show of Dares and is currently working on her new show Together Inside. The title song was written by Kidwell as a reaction to the lockdown being lifted.  She was featured in the original concept recording for The Church of the Alien Love Child Presents: The Passion of Rev. Yolanda.  She often sings as a guest at the variety show Groovin’ on a Sunday.
