Welcome to the second installment of the directors interview series on NiteLife Exchanges, hosted by NLE Publisher Scott Barbarino and co-hosted by Tony Javed. You may know her as a Tony Award-winning Broadway actress ( Guys and Dolls) and concert/cabaret performer, but Faith Prince has also been expanding her activities into master classes and workshop and educational leadership. And spurred by working with Michael Kirk Lane at 92NY’s Summer Cabaret Conference in 2024, Prince also has been moving into the director’s realm, recently working on The Prince and the Showboy with Jason Graae.
As we roll out this series, whether you’re a performing artist, neophyte director or a fan of the art form of cabaret, you’ll have a front row seat into the process of directing and how a first-class cabaret show is put together and achieved. Watch this space for our series of director interviews. Coming up are: Lennie Watts, Tanya Moberly, David Edwards, Sara Louise Lazarus, James Beaman, Lina Koutrakos, Barry Kleinbort, Geoffrey Stoner and Will Nunziata.
