A New Year’s Day concert Starring vocalist Carole Demas and music director-pianist Ian Herman, With You, streams live on January 1, 2021 at 7:30pm EST. Ticket holders may then view the show at that time of anytime afterward, on demand.
With you is an intimate concert for a new year, with a wide range of music and a number of piano pieces written by Herman, some of which have never been heard before.
Demas created the role of Sandy in Broadway’s Grease and also played the title role in The Baker’s Wife. She also starred in numerous other Broadway and off-Broadway shows, and has been seen in dozens of nighttime dramas and hundreds of commercials, as well as in concerts and cabaret rooms around the world and in New York City.
Herman is an award winning musical director, pianist and composer. His career spans decades, including Broadway shows, Off-Broadway shows concerts and Cabaret work. In 1999 he received the Backstage Bistro Award for best Music Director. He has worked with Jane Olivor, Donna McKechnie, Anita Morris, Judy Kaye, Tom Andersen, Karen Mason, Sharon McNight, Marilyn Sokol, Angela LaGreca, Carole Demas, Carole J. Bufford and Joy Behar in nightclubs in New York and around the country.
