Music at the Mansion Porch Performances Play Live on Saturday Nights, through August

Playing every Saturday night at 7 pm through August, “Music at the Mansion: Porch Performances,” with host Corinna Sowers Adler, features a live performance and dinner provided by Frungillo Catering. Produced by NiCori Studios and Productions, each show offers a safe, socially distant experience on the attractive wrap around porch at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center. The elegant, boxed dinner comes complete with salad, entree, side dish, dessert and coffee. BYOB. Each guest must select a dinner entree option prior to finalizing ticket payment. Please note that you will not be seated with anyone not in your party.

Saturday, August 1, BroadwayWorld and Bistro Award-winning artist, Lisa Viggiano, releasing her latest recording, Invited To Stay, and peoviding a sneak peek at songs from her upcoming show,  First Raitt (the songs of Bonnie Raitt & John Raitt). All CDs sold at the show will benefit the NiCori Scholarship Fund.

Saturday, August 8, Stearns Matthews with Markus Grae-Hauck on piano and will feature songs from his two award-winning CDs as well as his critically acclaimed cabaret performances in New York and beyond. Matthews is a MAC and Bistro Award-winning vocalist whose debut album SPARK won the 2015 Bistro Award for Outstanding Recording as well as the LaMott/Friedman Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs Award for Outstanding Recording. He also won the 2015 MAC Award for Best Male Vocalist.

Saturday, August 15, in Rosemary and Time, Liz McCartney tells the story of one of the most inspirational voices of the 20th Century, Rosemary Clooney. With the help of James Horan and special guest Lori Alexander, McCartney presents Clooney’s music at the pivotal points in her life and gives some backstage insight to Rosemary’s life throughout her career. Rosemary and Time won the Backstage Bistro award and two best supporting actress awards for the New York Musical Theater Festival.

Saturday, August 22, singer-pianist Eric Yves Garcia presents Croonin’ on a Summer Breeze’: The Songs of Tony Bennett, Nat ‘King’ Cole, Dean Martin & More! With appearances in venues nationally and internationally, Garcia is the recipient of the 2014 Margaret Whiting Award and the 2014 Bistro Award for Outstanding Singer/Instrumentalist. In front of other microphones, Eric is an Audible audiobook narrator.

Saturday August 29, Danny Bacher, an award-winning singer/saxophonist and entertainer performs a night of swingin’ jazz, American popular song, storytelling and laughs, combining his virtuosity on the instrument with a talent for comedy and narrative storytelling. Cut from the cloth of the great Louis Prima and Mel Torme, Bacher is a recent recipient of the Margaret Whiting Award. He was also nominated for best male vocalist in the 2019 National Jazz Times reader’s poll along with Harry Connick, Gregory Porter and Tony Bennett.
