Judi Mark Debuts Laughing Through Life—Cabaret Meets Comedy, on Wednesday May 22 and Tuesday, June 4 at Don’t Tell Mama

Dancer-singer-entertainer Judi Mark is adding plenty of laughs and feel-good humor to her new cabaret show, Laughing Through Life, playing at Don’t Tell Mama on Wednesday, May 22 and Tuesday, June 4, both at 7 PM (with two more shows scheduled in September). Mark’s Music Director and man at the keys is Tex Arnold.

Laughing Through Life is not your mama’s cabaret. As Mark began her cabaret career a few years ago, a certain “something” kept creeping into the act. It was noticed and encouraged by colleagues and fans alike. That “something” was comedy! The result is a Mark creating a fresh show where comedy and cabaret meet half way.

Through movement and song, Mark tells true life stories with a comedic flair and sings songs reflecting these stories such as “Come Dance with Me,” “At the Ballet,” “Shall We Dance,” plus standards such as “The Man I Love,” “When You Wish Upon a Star,” and comedic gems including the Chiquita banana song, a “Holiday Inn” parody, a mirthful “Take a Walk Around the Block,” and more.

Laughing Through Life plays at Don’t Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street, New York, NY on Wednesday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 25 at 7 PM. There is a $20 cover charge ($15 for MAC Members) and a two-drink minimum. Cash only. For show reservations, call 212.757.0788 or visit www.donttellmamany.com
