Jane Scheckter “I’ve (still) Got My Standards” at Birdland, Sunday, August 26th at 6 PM

It’s been three plus years since the Boston-based Jane Scheckter appeared on a New York stage, last seen in April 2015 downtown at Pangea. The singer returns, this time at Birdland on Sunday, August 26th at 6 PM with I’ve (still) Got My StandardsThe show is celebration of the 30th anniversary of her first record in 1988, a reunion with Mike Renzi on piano and Jay Leonhart on bass, and a tribute to Grady Tate, who passed away last year. Vito Lesczak will be playing drums. set list is includes standards such as “This Time the Dream’s on Me,” “It Might as Well Be Spring,” “You’re Sensational” and more.
