By Natasha Castillo***My latest photo journey features photos from the opening night of INVISIBLE to INVINCIBLE at Don’t Tell Mama on Wednesday, April 15, starring Broadwayworld Award winner Helane Blumfield. The show was directed by the multi-award-winning Lennie Watts, with wonderful musical direction by John Fischer.
It was a wonderful evening of music wherein Helane shared moving stories of how she navigated her process, as a mature woman (many of whom society marginalizes as they age), to reinvention and empowering self-visibility—captivating a full house of enthralled attendees.
If she brings back the show, I highly recommend it!
