Entertainer and host Richard Skipper returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Thursday, July 10 at 7 PM with his newest live experience, Richard Skipper Celebrates! Life Lessons from Legends—an audience-interactive “musical TED Talk” that blends storytelling, song, and real-time audience participation. Joining Skipper are special guest Barbara Minkus, musical director Dan Pardo and ddirector James Beaman.
Structured in three acts—invitation, reflection and collaboration—the evening features thematic segments such as “Saying Yes Before You’re Ready,” “Reinvention is Survival” and “The Audience Is the Star,” a philosophy Skipper has embraced throughout his career. Songs are woven throughout not as performance pieces, but as emotional extensions of each lesson.
