Catch Tammy Faye, Raven O, Sidney Myer and Jazz Bastards at Pangea in April

Tammy Faye Starlite inhabits the persona of Marianne Faithfulll in her show, Broken English, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Faithfulll’s groundbreaking album, with a song-for-song retrospective that Faithfull herself has endorsed. Shows have been added for Thursdays, April 4 and 11, both at 7 pm. The band includes rock veterans Keith Hartel, Richard Feridun, Ron Metz, David Nagler and Jared Michael Nickerson.

Raven O sings Frank Sinatra in Raven O Sinatra!!! My Way, previewed in March and plays again on April 15 at 7 pm. The New York and Berlin-based, Hawaii-born O is accompanied, as always, by bassist Ben Allison. Singer-raconteur and old-school entertainer, Sidney Myer, returns to Pangea where he extended and sold out an amazing six times in 2018. With music direction by Tracy Stark, Sidney Myer Live at Pangea! plays again for one night only on Sunday, April 21 at 7pm.

Jazz Bastards, the jazz combo that’s the “ill-born progeny of PDQ Bach and Al Capone,” Jenny Lee Mitchell, Aldo Perez and Matt Kanelos perform their immersive lounge show with Big Apple Circus clown Glen Heroy and drummer Nick Parker. Playing the last Friday of the month, Jazz Bastards continue on April 26 at 9:30 pm.
