Nominee for the 2026 MAC Award for Best Female Debut, vocalist Billie Brouse brings Thinking Out Loud to Don’t Tell Mama on Thursday, June 18 at 7 PM. Pianist John Fischer music directs, with bassist Matt Sharfglass and drummer Eric Harts. Lennie Watts directs.
Brouse, a singer-actress, was also a semi-finalist in the talent competition, Mama’s Next Big Act. As an alum of HB Studio, her early career was marked by a collaboration with the late Moogy Klingman (founding member of Todd Rundgren’s Utopia), an experience that helped shape her eclectic musicality.
