The Abingdon Theatre Company is continuing its Broadway on the Bowery series with three new events coming to Duane Park, and directed by Abingdon Artistic Director, Chad Austin.

The first event is An Evening with Teal Wicks (The Cher Show, Finding Neverland), in an intimate evening of entertainment, on Monday, February 21 at 8.30 PM. Wicks will offer an array of songs with a downtown twist, performed with the Bowery Quartet under the musical direction of Nick Wilders.

This show will be followed by an evening of music from It Happened in Key West, a new romantic musical comedy by Jill Santoriello, Jason Huza and Jeremiah James. Based on a true story, It Happened in Key West is an oddball comedy shifting between the absurd and the profound. It plays on Monday, March 7 at 7 PM. The concert will include a star-studded cast of Broadway and Off-Broadway performers.

The final event in this series is Brave, Bold and Beyond, a showcase of new and emerging musical artists. Abingdon is committed to fulfilling their mission to support emerging artists and this special event is the perfect way to do just that. Musical theatre artists including composers, songwriters and singers will be invited to submit to be part of this event. More information coming soon.
