Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano are Warmer This Winter at NYC’s Birdland, with a new set at 6 PM on Thursday, January 25. (Comstock will be returning to his regular solo time slot on Saturdays at 6 PM as well.) With a promise of an “electrifying combination of warmth, wit, swing and sensuality,” the duo are set to delve into American Songbook standards old and new, such as the tunes of Cole Porter, Paul Simon, Duke Ellington, Joni Mitchell and more. Comstock and Fasano will be joined by frequent colleague Sean Smith on bass.
Comstock and Fasano are winners of seven MAC Awards, five Bistro Awards and the New York Nightlife Award.
