The third annual Women’s Day on Broadway, sponsored by Disney’s Women of Broadway, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10 at the New Amsterdam Theatre, 214 West 42nd Street, NYC from 1 pm to 5 pm. Tickets are gratis but must be reserved.
Women’s Dy on Broadway 2020 is, according to the sponsor, “a day of open and honest dialogue about gender equality in the theatre industry and beyond.” The event is open to all gender identities and expressions interested in joining the conversation and is meant to offer an opportunity to share experiences, struggles and victories with the goal of supporting each other to make the industry stronger.
Disney’s Women of Broadway seeks to build a community of women, including all those who identify as women and/or non-binary, who are working in—or fans of—the Broadway, Off-Broadway and professional theater industry.
