Vocalist Mary Ellen Ryan presents Life on the Aisle on Saturday, May 30 and Friday, June 12 at Don’t Tell Mama at 7 PM. The show is directed by James Luzar, with musical direction by pianist Ricky Ritzel.
Ryan was a regular at Collette Black’s Cabaret Workshops and is a member of Eadie Scott’s Manhattan Cabaret Arts. Her debut solo show, No Apologies, featured “Professor Feminista” who explored female archetypes in song as they have been historically defined by men. With Ritzel, she performed in the revue Git Aht: A Loving Tribute to Pittsburgh.
