Bistro and MAC Hanson Award winning vocalist Lucille Carr-Kaffashan returns to Don’t Tell Mama on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 29, both at 7 PM, with Breathe, Songs of Holding on and Letting Go. Music director-pianist is Jeff Cubet, with bassist Matt Scharfglass and drummer Don Kelly. David Hilder directs.
Breathe, Songs of Holding on and Letting Go is a musical exploration of how we navigate the process of holding on and letting go in all its various iterations: relationships, hopes and beliefs, a sense of identity, and in doing so we face turning points that create the opportunity for change and growth. Songs are from the Great American Songbook, contemporary singer-songwriters, musical theater and classic and current country music stars.
