Vocalist and actor Eileen Barnett returns to New York with Back Again…For the Very First Time on Tuesday, October 6 at 7 PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. With music director Michael Collum, she’ll share songs and stories about her life, her loves and her career on both coasts.
The eclectic evening of songs includes selections from Stephen Sondheim, Randy Newman, The Great American Songbook, Broadway, classic and contemporary tunes, and special comedy material written just for her. Barnett’s first love has always been musical theatre. Her first job in New York was as a pit singer in the original production of Company. She continued to work on the East Coast, but life took her to Los Angeles where she’s had a successful career in television.
