The Quarantine Theatre Company Live-Streams “The Little Foxes” on Sunday, July 26

The Quarantine Theatre Company presents a live-stream of Lillian Hellman’s classic play, The Little Foxes on Sunday, July 26th at 7pm ET on YouTube. The tale, set in a small town in Alabama in 1900, focuses on the struggle for control of a family business, uncovering layers of greed and corruption. It stars Austin Pendleton, Morgana Shaw, Liam Mitchell, Barbara Bleier, Tom Smith, Tammy Faye Starlight and Ian Christiansen.

Pendleton’s experience with the play includes acting in the 1967 Broadway revival and directing the 1980 revival, starring Elizabeth Taylor. Shaw plays the lead role of Regina Giddens—played by Bette Davis in the iconic 1941 film. The title of the 1939 work comes from Chapter 2, Verse 15 of the Song of Solomon in the King James version of the Bible, which reads, “Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.”

The Quarantine Theatre Company was created in April by film historian Jack Fields as a platform for actors from across the country to come together to revisit established plays and screenplays.
