The Multi-Talented Isaac Mizrahi Returns to 54 Below in “Hooray” from August 12-15

Polymath Isaac Mizrahi and his jazz band return to 54 Below for his annual summer residency with Hooray, from Wednesday, August 12 through Saturday,  August 15, all at 7 PM.

With music ranging from Billie Eilish to Cole Porter, Mizrahi will leave audiences  with his trademark cultural whiplash, tackling subjects from social media to politics and a good deal of insider tea with his blend of music, storytelling and comedy. What’s more, he has the entertainment chops for it, having spent more than 35 years at the intersection of entertainment, media, and fashion, earning acclaim as a performer, host, writer, designer, produce and cultural commentator.

Among his many credits, Mizrahi  co-created and starred in the documentary Unzipped, hosted the Emmy Award-winning The Isaac Mizrahi Show for seven seasons, served as a judge on all seven seasons of Project Runway All Stars, directed productions for the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, designed costumes for the Metropolitan Opera, and annually directs and narrates Peter and the Wolf, a production he originally created for New York City’s Guggenheim Museum—plus, he continues to appear across television, film and digital media. Mizrahi currently serves as Creative Director at Large for Target and is also the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir I.M.
