Prohibition Productions presents the 8th Annual Gotham Jazz Festival on Sunday, April 19, from 1:30 to 11:00 PM at The 3 West Club.
The twenties roar again with a full day of dancing, lounging, n’ listening to 15 hot jazz and swing bands… and nearly 100 musicians. Scheduled to appear are:
The Hot Sardines, Eyal Vilner Big Band, Gordon Webster Band, Alphonso Horne & The Gotham Kings, Hot Toddies Jazz Band featuring Hannah Gill and Dewitt Fleming Jr, David Ostwald’s Louis Armstrong Eternity Band, Terry Waldo’s Gotham City Band and more,
Alo on the bill are Bryce Edwards Frivolity Tri-OH!, Elizabeth Bougerol and Her Band, thhe Summer Camargo Trio, Evan Palazzo & Friends, AC Lincoln Quintet and a JAM SESSION led by Gordon Webster. There’s also an “Always” Irving Berlin Tribute dedicated to the late, beloved clarinetist, Ken Peplowski.
