Sue’s Muse: An Interview with Susan Winter

She’s Baaaccckkk! Yes, our beloved gal is coming back to New York for a brand new two-show run in late August at Don’t Tell Mama. I like to think that I had something to do with it because just two days after this interview, she texted me that she was “inspired” to book some shows while she was up here visiting this summer. How lucky are we not only to be able to catch up with this magnificent woman, but also to be able to hear her incredible voice again! In this interview we talk about the unique niche that she has carved out for herself in Florida as a big band singer; we also talk about her and Deb Berman hosting the Open Mic at The Metropolitan Room, golfing and other stuff. Please spend a few minutes with Susan Winter…

Here’s a clip of Susan singing and here are links to tickets for her show, Susan’s Back in Town at Don’t Tell Mama, both at 7 PM: Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25. Let’s all show Susan how much NY misses her and sell out her shows!
