Sue’s Muse: An Interview with Vocalist Eddie Bruce

As most of you know, nightlife and cabaret does exist in other places besides New York City. This gent has created a niche market in New Jersey and Philadelphia theaters with his tribute shows to Tony Bennett and Anthony Newley. Today we’re going to talk about his upcoming, new swinging album launch and his ongoing tribute show celebrating Bennett’s centennial. I booked him for our Gala Night at Winter Rhythms last year, where he wowed us all with sheer talent and a voice that, while reminiscent of Tony’s, was all his own. He is a delight and an incredible performer! Meet Eddie Bruce!

Here is a link to his upcoming swinging big band Father’s Day album release show, For Dreamers and Their Dreams, on Sunday, June 21 at 3:oo PM at the FringeArts Theater in Philadelphia.

To hear Eddie sing, here’s a link to his website, where you also can learn more about him.

And here’s a link to tickets to Eddie’s Tony Bennett Centennial Celebration at The Cutting Room on Sunday, July 26 at 3 PM. (And yes, for full disclosure, I’ll be appearing with Eddie as a guest in this show—but I’ve been wanting to interview this man forever because you need to know him!)
