Sue’s Muse: An Interview with Amanda McBroom and Michele Brourman

What can you say about two magnetic, kind, brilliant women who have been friends and who have worked together for over 50 years? Well? ALOT! But why just write about them when you can meet them for yourselves. I loved this interview. We chat about them, about music, about the songwriting process, but mostly, about their love and collaboration over all these years. They will be here in New York to teach a SOLD OUT Master Class that I have organized and to do a very special show here at Birdland on Monday, April 20 at 7:00PM. We hope that you join us.

We talked about so many things that I forgot to ask Michele about a very special show that our own Wendy-Lane Bailey is performing called Remembering My Dreams – The Michele Brourman Songbook, which is a beautiful tribute to Michele’s body of work. This is part of the Solo Theater’s Spring Festival (last two shows: April 3 and 9). I also have a really fun Sue’s Muse with Wendy in the archives should you like to do a deep dive!

Please meet the incomparable Amanda McBroom and Michele Brourman…
