Steve Ross and Shana Farr Celebrate the Holidays, Live on Monday, December 14

Coming live from St. John’s Church in Greenwhich Village on Monday, December 14 at 7:30 PM, Shana Farr and Steve Ross celebrate the season with favorite holiday songs, taking us on a musical sleigh ride through the great American songbook. Produced by Musae In association with St. John’s and Denise Marsa Productions, this concert will be broadcast live in both HD and 360° Virtual Reality, so that audiences can enjoy a completely immersive experience.

Songs include “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” “Let it Snow,” “Sleigh Ride,” “White Christmas,” “Santa Clause is Coming to Town,” “Silver Bells,” “Three Ships,” “O Holy Night” and more.

Tickets are offered on a “Pay What You Can” basis. The program is available on any device—phone, tablet, computer, TV or VR headset. A link is provided upon ticket purchase, which includes the ability to view the concert as many times as desired after the live broadcast.

Shana Farr and Steve Ross are multi-award-winning cabaret, concert and stage performers who have appeared all over the world in venues large and small, including Rose Theater Jazz at Lincoln Center, Weill Recital Hall Carnegie Hall, Birdland Jazz Club, Feinstein’s/54 Below, New York City Center and more.

Dubbed the “Crown Prince of New York Cabaret,” Ross has a keen knowledge of the Great American Songbook’s music and history; he has hosted radio series and outdoor concerts. He also conducts workshops and Master Classes and appears on the programs of Vocal Ease, a volunteer organization wherein performers contribute their time and talents in senior centers around New York City.

Farr is a classically trained actress and singer. She has performed leading roles in musical theater, operetta and plays. Highlights are The Music Man, The Merry Widow, Sweet Bird of Youth, Blithe Spirit, Oklahoma!, Love Letters, Princess Ida, The Student Prince, and The Pirates of Penzance. She teaches Master Classes on song interpretation and collaborates with many great artists from the Broadway stage and cabaret to celebrate the great American songbook.
