The next Spotlight On You open mic, hosted by 2019 MAC Award nominee for Best Emcee, Natasha Castillo, is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22 at 53 Above Broadway, 318 West 53rd Street, 1st floor, between 8th and 9th Avenues. Sign up is at 6 PM, with performances between 6:30 and 8:00 PM.
This Autumn@ the Spotlight features multi-award winners Marissa Mulder and Jon Weber at the piano.
Marissa Mulder has performed her shows at the Carlyle, 54 Below, Birdland, and Joe’s Pub. She is the recipient of three MAC (Manhattan Association Of Cabarets and Clubs) awards, for Major Artist and Recording Of The Year for her show Tom…in his words, the songs of Tom Waits. Her latest album Two Tickets Left won the 2019 MAC award for album of the year. She is the recipient of the Julie Wilson and Noel Coward Awards. Mulder will be making her West Coast debut this November with her show I’ll Follow The Sun, the Songs of Lennon/McCartney at Feinstein’s at Vitellos in LA and Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater In Fresno.
There is a $10 cover for Spotlight on You and a $15 food/beverage minimum.
