Singer-Saxophonist Danny Bacher Co-Hosts Salon for the Sunday, October 26 Edition at Don’t Tell Mama

The ongoing open-mic series, Salon continues on Sunday, September 26th at 7 PM at Don’t Tell Mama with co-host Danny Bacher. Salon is an ongoing open entertainment event in which singers, writers and musicians share their talent with each other and audience members. The series is hosted by Mark Janas and produced by Tanya Moberly. The optional theme for the evening is “Morning, Evening, Noon & Night.”

Bacher is an award-winning singer, saxophonist, songwriter and entertainer with a talent for comedy and narrative storytelling. He has released two studio albums Swing That Music! and Still Happy and is a recent recipient of the prestigious Margaret Whiting Award. Bacher was also nominated for best male vocalist in the 2019 National Jazz Times reader’s poll along with Harry Connick, John Pizzarelli, and Tony Bennett, and in 2020 placed in the top 3 in the country—along with Kurt Elling and Gregory Porter.

There is a $10 cash cover ($5 for students with I.D.) collected at the door and a 2-drink minimum (cash or credit) per person. Food menu available.

Doors open and sign up begins at 6:30pm. The evening runs 7-9:30 PM, without a break.
