The pulse of jazz will reverberate through the city that never sleeps as the Second Annual New York Jazz Piano Festival takes center stage from Friday, January 12 to Tuesday, January 16. The event will showcase an array of international and world-class jazz pianists at various Manhattan venues.

Locations around Manhattan include The John Birks Gillespie Auditorium at the New York Baha’i Center, The Showroom at Mercedes Benz Manhattan, Klavierhaus and the Zinc Bar. Featured pianists are Alan Broadbent, Luis Perdomo/Miguel Zenon, David Kikoski with Billy Hart in a special tribute to Chick Corea and McCoy Tyner, Rufus Reid Duo, Aaron Parks, Laurence Hobgood, Miki Yamanaka, Edsel Gomez, Elio Villafranca and Rachel Z, among others. Kicking off the festival on opening night will be John Beasley with saxophonist Chris Potter. The festival’s diverse program will span classic to contemporary jazz styles, showcasing performances by both emerging talents and well-established jazz legends.
