The internationally-minded, guitar virtuoso, Sean Harkness, performs his Thursday Midday Concert via Zoom on July 2, 2020 at 1 pm – 2 pm EDT, 10 am PDT, 12 pm CDT, 6 pm BST and 2 am Japan (ごめん). The performance is hosted by the National Arts Club. The concert is free, but registration is required and donations are most welcome.
According to the NAC, “Please help the NAC support artists. By making a donation with your registration, you contribute directly to the livelihood of our performers and presenters. The NAC will share 50% of all donations with the featured performer/presenter. The remaining 50% will support the NAC Artist Fellows program, helping to further the careers of up-and-coming artists.”
Harkness will have a few different acoustic guitars, will play a mix of pieces well-known and some he’s written. He “may even improvise something for the occasion.”
