Scott Siegel’s “The Jewish American Hit Parade” Series Kick Off with “Jewish Broadway” on Monday, November 12

A musical journey from Broadway to Hollywood and back again to the Great White Way features songs written for the stage and screen by Jewish composers. This three-part series, produced by Scott Siegel,  begins with Jewish Broadway on Monday, November 12 at Temple Emanuel at 7 pm. Songs from hits such as South Pacific, The King and I, Fiddler on the Roof, A Chorus Line, The Producers, Rent, Dear Evan Hansen, Les Misérables, Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, Annie, Bye Bye Birdie and The Band’s Visit will be presented by a cast that includes Faraj Alvin, Chirstina Bianco, Chuck Cooper, Lisa Howard, William Michals and Brian Charles Rooney.  

The series continues with Jewish Oscars ® on Monday, February 11 with the works of of Alfred Newman, Randy Newman, Burt Bacharach, Hal David, Alan Menken, Marvin Hamlisch, Barbra Streisand, Stephen Sondheim and Jewish TONYs on Monday, June 3 with the award-winning songs of Richard Rodgers, Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Jerry Herman, Harvey Fierstein and more.
