Goode Productions’ streaming presentation of Ryan McCurdy’s one-man Off-Broadway musical Whiterock Cliff, returns for a virtual encore starting on Monday, April 26, available on demand through Sunday, May 23. The show features a book by Ryan McCurdy (Once) and Ellie Pyle (Bespoke Plays) and music and lyrics by Ryan McCurdy. Whitrock Cliff is directed by Mary Chieffo (“Star Trek: Discovery”).

Whiterock Cliff weaves together memory, music, mental health, the creative process, the stories we tell ourselves and the ones we tell to each other. McCurdy, multi-instrumentalist and master storyteller, shares stories and songs about hiking the Appalachian Trail over a decade ago, the musical he co-wrote in the year leading up to lockdown, a rock star and a novelist and more—perhaps true and perhaps not. The show also features the voices of Mick Bleyer, Nick Corley, Brittany Curran, Stephen Lyons, Ellie Pyle, and Katrien Van Riel.

McCurdy is a multi-disciplinary performer, writer and producer who has worked extensively on both coasts and across the United States. As an actor-musician and music supervisor, he has worked with Manhattan Theatre Club, Rattlestick Playwrights, Second Stage, and Center Stage Baltimore. Broadway audiences saw him and Eric Love for many years in Broadway Cares fundraisers supporting the original production of the musical Once, which he has since worked on at Actors’ Playhouse, Saint Michael’s Playhouse, and Mason Street Warehouse. He has composed recently for Shakespeare on the Sound, among others.
