Regina Zona Encores “Becoming…the Queen 2.0: When One Coronation in a Lifetime is Not Enough” to The Laurie Beechman Theatre on February 15th & 27th

Cross-over singer Regina Zona brings Becoming…the Queen 2.0: When One Coronation in a Lifetime is Not Enough to The Laurie Beechman Theatre for two encore performances, tonight Saturday, February 15th and Thursday, February 27th, both at 7:30 pm. This is a show that showcases singing styles from opera to Broadway to jazz. It takes the audience on a journey through Zona’s life as an opera Diva (specifically the iconic Queen of the Night), her secret desire to be a Fosse dancer, her fulfilling career as a voice teacher and how she is growing older gracefully and fabulously! Music Director is Jonathan K. Parks with Sean Murphy on bass and Mike Lunoe on drums. Director is Lina Koutrakos.

Regina Zona’s performance abilities have earned her success throughout her very diverse career. As a classical singer, she has performed on opera and concert stages all over the world in a variety of repertoire and has recorded her debut CD for the Naxos American Classics Label in worldwide distribution. In 2018 she wrote and performed her first one-woman show tand in 2019 began a new chapter, entering the world of cabaret.
