Vocalist Rebecca Angel will celebrate the release of her debut album, Love Life Choices at downtown club DROM on Tuesday, August 10 at 8 PM. Angel’s band features Jason Miles: Musical Director, keyboards, Nir Felder: guitar, Gene Lake: drums, Cyro Baptista: percussion, Buster Hemphill: bass, Dennis Angel: flugelhorn, Jenny Hill: saxophone and Emily Bindiger and Audrey Martel: background vocals.
Love Life Choices follows Angel’s 2018 EP What We Had and other well-received singles, including For What It’s Worth, which led to her win of the 2020 New Artist Breakout Single via the Independent Music Network.
The show mixes originals with interpretations of established works, such as Bob Marley’s “Waiting In Vain,” “Corcovado,” “Waters Of March” and more.
