Piano Bar Live! Streams This Tuesday, October 13, With Host Scott Barbarino and Co-Host Lisa Asher, Plus The World Famous Stardusters

Featuring new performers with every show, the weekly, award-winning Piano Bar Live! (PBL!) streams this Tuesday, October 13 at 7:15 pm ET, with host Scott Barbarino and co-host Lisa Asher, in A Night at Ellen’s Stardust Diner! 

PBL! is proud to continue the long-established tradition of the piano bar—that special place where we can gather, entertain, support and create, as we connect with live music. Best of all, PBL! is the the unique chance to see veteran performers pass the torch to the next generation of blossoming young talent. The line-up always features a mix of veteran and rising star performers from the world of piano bars, cabaret and Broadway.

There is a “reservations only” policy through Yelp, six days a week from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm. The singing wait staff will be wearing masks and face shields and will be significantly distanced from patrons while performing.

Ellen’s Stardust Diner currently operates at reduced capacity and is implementing enhanced measures in accordance with guidance issued by federal, state and local authorities to ensure a safe, socially distant experience for all.

The original Ellen’s Stardust Diner was opened in 1987 and was the first 1950s themed restaurant in New York City, featuring Singing Waiters. Ellen’s Stardust Diner is located at 1650 Broadway on the southeast corner of 51st Street in Manhattan’s Theater District. 

Ellen’s Stardust Diner is considered a home for singing waiters to hone there skills while waiting for that big break from “Burgers to Broadway.” Former Ellen’s staff members have been known to star in almost every Broadway and major off-Broadway musical such as Avenue Q, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, South Pacific, In The Heights, On The Town, Wicked and Godspell and more. Many current staffers have received critical acclaim with original musicals at NY Musical Theater Festival. Brandi Massey, Brandon Ellis, Eric Michael Krop, Matt DeAngelis, Christine Dwyer, Nathan Lucrezio and Alysha Umphress are some of the successful Broadway performers who have performed as singing waiters at Ellen’s Stardust Diner.
