Piano Bar Live Is Required to Cancel Tonight, Monday, March 16—But Streams Will Continue

A statement by producer Scott Barbarino, who is also the publisher of NiteLife Exchange:

As you may be aware, Governor Cuomo has announced that bars and restaurants in New York City are officially moving to take-out/delivery only as of 8pm tonight. Sadly, we must cancel tonight’s PBL! stream.

However, this will not last forever and we do have several updates to share. Obviously, anything could change at anytime and we will keep you updated as changes emerge. As of now: For the next two weeks (at least) we are officially on hiatus for new streams.

Instead, we’ll do watch parties of old shows during the next two weeks and on our usual Monday time-slot at 7pm…starting TONIGHT! We hope you will join us at Facebook.com/PianoBarLive to continue to connect with live music.

On March 30, unless otherwise notified, we will be streaming 45 minutes of PBL with our Host Michael McAssey at they keys to open the MAC Awards at Don’t Tell Mama. Immediately following, winners will be announced.

Thank you all for your continuous support and most importantly for your viewership and commitment to helping people–literally around the world–connect with live music. We can’t wait to get back to this important work as soon as we are able, in whatever manner we’re able.

“Be Well.”

Sending you all love and appreciation,
