Composer, conductor and pianist Damien Sneed, performs at The Town Hall on Friday, June 5 at 8 PM with the Orchestra of Tomorrow in Revelation & Jubilation: A Symphony of Spirit to mark Black Music Month.
The immersive musical experience blends diverse traditions, including African drumming, spirituals, art songs, and expressive ballads, all woven together with symphonic arrangements. The event will showcase a variety of guest artists, including Phylicia Rashad, Kim Burrell, Twinkie Clark, J’Nai Bridges, Jacqueline Echols-McCarley and Matthew Whitaker, among others.
