Downtown supper club, Pangea, will showcase several of its signature artists in a six-day “Winter Alt-Fest” running from Friday, January 4 to Wednesday, January 9. Featuring a mix of new shows and special encores of productions seen in recent months, the six-day Festival spotlights performers from several genres, including theatre, music, dance, comedy and performance. The line-up includes the nightclub iconoclast Zachary Clause; David Bowie channeler Raquel Cion, improvisational singer-satirist David Nagler (with special guests Tammy Faye Starlite and Xavier), downtown legend Flotilla DeBarge, the dance-theatre duo Catherine Cabeen and Kristina Berg, cabaret artist Tim Cahill, spoken word multi-mediaist Alberto Zayden and the alternative folk-rock trio Vicki Kristina Barcelona.
• Vicki Kristina Barcelona (consisting of Rachelle Garniez, Amanda Homi, and Terry Radigan) is re-imagining the songs of Tom Waits via three-part harmonies, with a treasure trove of instruments including banjos, bottles and bells to get the point across.

• Zachary Clause reprises his Hey Girl! a musical paean to women, especially the ones who don’t suffer fools gladly, who kick up the dirt in front of them and who basically tear down the patriarchy one brick at a time. Friday, January 4 at 9pm. Cover $20

• The Texas-bred Tim Cahill has been remastering the American songbook, aided and abetted in his music and humor by Jim Harder on the piano. It’s About Tim(e), Sunday, January 6 at 7pm. Cover $20
• The Havanna-born Alberto Zayden is a painter with words and imagery and commentary in a mixed media creation that traces a journey of discovery that is as inspiring as it is maddening. Revolutions Don’t Come to Paradise, Monday, January 7 at 7pm. Cover $20
• David Nagler brings his topical character-driven original songs to his act, with special guests—improv “bad girl,” Tammy Faye Starlite and the “enfant terrible,” Xavier. Allies and Enemies, Monday, January 7 at 9pm. Cover $20
• Raquel Cion brings back her David Bowie tribute, directed by Cynthia Cahill, with music director Karl Saint Lucy on piano, backed by a four-piece combo, Cion explores Bowie’s diverse catalog as ponders her destiny, mid-life, cancer and beyond. • Drag legend Flotilla DeBarge is full of love, music and comedy to lift us from the depths of destruction, with music director Paul Leschen. Presented by Kevin Malony’s TWEED TheaterWorks—a resident Pangea producing partner. Under Destruction! Wednesday, January 9 at 7pm. Cover is $20.
