Paddington Gets in a Jam Plays at the Union Square DR2 Theatre Through March 8

Paddington Gets in a Jam has begun a limited 12-week run through March 8, 2020 at Union Square’s DR2 Theatre (103 E 15th Street). The show includes Jake Bazel, Jessica Bulzacchelli, John Cody, A.J. Ditty and Kirsty Moon.

In Paddington Gets in a Jam, Paddington is at home making his favorite marmalade jam, with the help of the Brown’s housekeeper Mrs. Bird, but they run out of sugar.  Paddington goes next door to borrow some sugar, where he finds his ever-grumpy neighbor Mr. Curry in a panic, expecting an important visitor. Paddington volunteers to help get the house ready for the visit, but unfortunately for Paddington his good intentions lead to some very funny chaos. Will Paddington be able to fix everything before Mr Curry’s visitor arrives?

Paddington Gets in a Jam is created and directed by Jonathan Rockefeller with puppet creation by Rockefeller Productions. The creative team includes Doug Kmiotek (playwright), David Goldstein and Peter Feuchtwanger (set design), Jamie Roderick (lighting design) and Dave Ferdinand (sound design).

Paddington Gets in a Jam is geared to 3 to 8 years-old, although many children older and children-at-heart–will find much to appreciate too.

Paddington Gets in a Jam runs for 60 minutes with no intermission.
